About the Role
This is a great opportunity for an early-career Accountant to join our Wellness Finance team supporting Life Ready physiotherapy clinics. Reporting to the Financial Accountant, you’ll play a hands-on role in delivering accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance, and supporting day-to-day accounting operations. This role suits someone who enjoys working across multiple entities, improving processes, and contributing to a fast-moving and evolving environment.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver day-to-day and month-end financial accounting activities, including journal processing
  • Complete accurate and timely bank and balance sheet reconciliations across multiple entities
  • Oversee accounts payable processes, ensuring invoices, GST treatment and payments are managed correctly
  • Maintain and monitor general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
  • Support tax compliance activities including payroll tax, BAS/IAS and FBT preparation
  • Assist with audit requirements and contribute to process improvements and efficiencies within the finance function

This is a full-time position, based in Perth on a 6-month fixed-term basis.

About You
You’re a motivated and detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys both working independently and being part of a collaborative team. With foundational experience in financial accounting, you’re looking to build on your technical skills while contributing to a growing business. You’re adaptable, proactive and comfortable managing competing priorities in a changing environment.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Progress towards (or willingness to undertake) a CA or CPA qualification
  • Previous experience in financial accounting, ideally within a small to medium organisation
  • Working knowledge of financial reporting, general ledger management and reconciliations
  • Exposure to tax requirements such as payroll tax, BAS/IAS or similar compliance activities
  • Strong organisational, problem-solving and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach
